Data, purposes and legal basis

We process the name, email address, optional phone number, practice area and message you provide to respond to your enquiry and contact you. Marked fields are required to process the form. The legal basis is the consent you give when submitting it; where you request a service proposal, it also includes pre-contractual steps taken at your request. We do not use these data for newsletters or automated advertising. If an engagement is agreed, the information applicable to the professional case file will be provided.

Connecting to the server generates technical data, such as IP addresses and access logs, needed for service availability and security, based on our legitimate interest in protecting the website. The form uses a pseudonymised identifier derived from the IP address to limit repeated submissions for one minute. We do not carry out profiling or automated decisions with legal effects. Avoid including medical information, documents or third-party data in the initial message; an appropriate channel will be agreed if they are needed.

Recipients and technical services

Your enquiry is sent to the firm’s professional mailbox using Gmail/Google Workspace. Hosting and email services may process data to provide their technical services. Data are not disclosed to third parties for their own commercial purposes; disclosure may be made where legally required. Google services may involve processing outside the European Economic Area under applicable safeguards, including standard contractual clauses where relevant. Retention

Enquiries are retained for as long as needed to respond and, where applicable, follow up the requested steps. Once that purpose ends, data will be deleted or restricted where retention is required by law or to address potential liabilities during the relevant limitation periods. Technical data are retained in accordance with their security purpose.

Your rights

You may request access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability where applicable, and withdraw consent without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing, by writing to carlosarencibia@legantisabogados.com or the address above.
